Sayulita, Mexico

Bienvenido Amigos!
Please join us for the wedding celebration of Bryce and Monika! Here you will find everything you need to know about Sayulita, our wedding, accommodations, travel tips and more. We took our time, and fully enjoyed engagement life as we tossed around ideas of how we want to start our forever. Mexico was a choice we continued to come back to, and we couldn’t feel more grateful to have our closest friends and family surround us on our wedding day in Sayulita. We appreciate all the love and support we have received on this journey and we are so excited for the events to come!
Mucho amor!

Thank you all again! Below are links to our photos, we have rounded up all the photos from friends and family and of course from our photographer, Tom Moks. Special shout out to our sisters, Melina, Miranda, and Lyndsay for capturing so many behind-the-scenes, pre-party, and special moments the photographer did not capture. I sprinkled their photos among the professional shots in the links below. And also a big thank you to Dan for his drone footage and the cool shots from above! Enjoy!
Pre-Fiesta Fun
Friends and family enjoying the cute town of Sayulita and our villa before the big event.
Welcome Fiesta
Another huge thank you to Eric and Holly Schlange for hosting the amazing welcome party! El Conejo is a new restaurant in Sayulita, and we chose it because they have a tasting room serving their own, Suerte Tequila. Unfortunately the tequila tasting did not exactly go as planned, as the restaurant ran out of shot glasses. However, the tequila was tasty either way!

Post- Wedding Fiesta
A lil R&R with tacos on the beach… doesn’t get much better than that! We hosted friends and family at the villa for a post party hang, to say our thank yous and goodbyes.
Mini-moon
This was the perfect end to an amazing weekend! We fully utilized all the luxury and relaxation the W Punta Mita had to offer. And we highly suggest this hotel to anyone wanting to go back to visit the area and looking for that resort-life!

Bryce and Monika share one of the greatest loves there is- a love for food. They met cooking together for a wine bar in Sunset Beach, called Brix. When they first started dating Bryce was pursuing his musical talents and Monika was finishing her bachelors in marketing at Long Beach State. Together they do all their favorite things- travel, concert, cook, ride bikes, swimming, harbor cruises, “Tour de” happy hour hopping and more! In May 2016 Bryce and Monika moved in together in Long Beach and have been loving it ever since! June 1, 2017 Bryce asked Monika to marry him, leading us all to Sayulita where yeses will turn into I dos!

Welcome to sunny Sayulita! This town was once known as a tranquil fishing village. In more recent years this small cobblestone town has gained more development and popularity (thanks Bachelor in Paradise). Sayulita is home to beautiful beaches, Mexican culture, rideable waves, and exquisite restaurants. Often called the “crown jewel” of the Riviera Nayarit, Beachfront vacation rentals are a favorite with travelers to the area. Stunning natural beauty, eco tourism and jungle retreats are just the beginning. We fell in love with Sayulita and we think you will too!

We are extremely honored to have you join us for our big fiesta in Mexico.
Your presence is a present!
For traditional gift givers, we have set up a registry. This registry will go towards our first adventure as a married couple or possibly towards a down payment on our first home one day. We greatly appreciate the contribution.
We will not have a traditional gift registry of household items as we are truly blessed to have made our little space a home, fully equipped with everything we need. Thank you so much for thinking of us!
